At points ecstatic, dark, searching, and joyful, this intimate circus show celebrates vulnerable connection through sincere juggling. Utilizing acrobatics, weight-sharing, object manipulation, and dance, Surface Tension addresses the fear of loss, the power of trust, and the joy of vulnerability. Surface Tension is the debut production from Company To X For, a grassroots contemporary circus company based in Chicago. Founded by Liam Bradley and David Chervony.

This production is part of MINIBALL, a six-day festival featuring 7 full-length shows, running concurrently with Philadelphia Theatre Week April 3rd-8th, 2022.
Miniball is a micro version of the CANNONBALL FESTIVAL, an independently produced performing arts festival that runs concurrently with the Philadelphia Fringe Arts Festival, which presents risk-taking independent artists in back-to-back performances next to delicious lounge spaces, fostering creative collisions and community conversation.
